Olabisi Fagoyinbo
Workplace Mental Health Consultant & Advisor
I help growing companies reduce burnout-related attrition, people conflict, and leadership overload through structured Employee Assistance Programmes (EAPs) and workplace mental health advisory.
This work is designed for organisations navigating pressure, growth, and complexity, not for individual therapy or wellness coaching. What’s Really Showing Up in Teams
In many organisations, mental health challenges don’t look dramatic. They show up quietly as structural and leadership gaps.
- Consistent underperformance from capable people
- Irritability, withdrawal, and unspoken resentment
- Managers avoiding conversations they don’t feel equipped to handle
- HR absorbing emotional risk without clear escalation paths
- Founders carrying more pressure than the organisation realises
These patterns are rarely personal issues.
They are signals of structural and leadership gaps. Addressing the root cause prevents the recurring symptoms.
Why “Having an EAP” Often Changes Nothing
Most companies already have some form of mental health support, and still struggle. That’s usually because support is reactive and invisible until crisis hits.
The Common Failures
- Employees don’t trust or understand how to use it
- Managers are left guessing how to respond
- Leadership receives no insight that helps decision-making
The Result
Without structure, mental health support becomes a checkbox, not a stabiliser. My work transforms support from a passive benefit into an active structural pillar.
How My Work Is Different
I approach workplace mental health as a systems and leadership responsibility, not an individual weakness.
The outcome is not a softer organisation. It is a more stable, accountable, and sustainable one.
- Reducing avoidable burnout before it escalates into exits or conflict
- Equipping managers to respond responsibly without becoming therapists
- Preserving confidentiality while giving leadership clarity
- Replacing emotional guesswork with clear processes
Services for Organisations
I work with organisations through structured pilots and retainers. I do not offer individual therapy, emergency psychiatric care, or ad-hoc counselling sessions. Services are designed to reduce organisational risk and stabilise teams.
Employee Assistance Programmes (EAP)
A structured, confidential support system that protects employees while giving organisations visibility without breaching trust.
- Access to confidential counselling via vetted licensed clinicians
- Clear escalation and referral protocols
- Employee orientation
- Anonymous utilisation and trend reporting
Workplace Wellbeing & Performance
Designed for organisations experiencing rising pressure, burnout signals, or people-related friction.
- Burnout and wellbeing risk audits
- Manager mental health literacy training
- Conflict, boundary, and escalation frameworks
- Ongoing advisory support for HR
Leadership & Founder Advisory
Focused support for those carrying decision-making, people leadership, and organisational pressure.
- Founder and executive advisory sessions
- Support around decision fatigue and people complexity
- Psychological safety and culture diagnostics
- Change and transition advisory
How I Work
In organisational settings, mental health challenges are rarely about resilience alone. They are usually the result of unclear expectations, unmanaged pressure, and untrained leadership responses. My work focuses on building structure around human realities.
Confidentiality & Boundaries
Confidentiality is foundational. I never share individual identities or session content. I share anonymous trends, utilisation patterns, and systemic risk indicators. This allows leadership to act responsibly without breaching trust.
Manager Enablement
Managers are not therapists. I train them to recognize early warning signs, escalate appropriately, hold boundaries without avoidance, and respond without panic or overreach. This reduces harm and risk.
Programme Structure
Engagements typically follow one of three paths: a time-bound pilot, a retainer-based EAP or advisory programme, or leadership-only advisory support. All engagements are clearly scoped.
Clinical Partnerships
Where clinical care is required, I work with vetted licensed professionals through structured referral pathways. I do not replace clinical services; I design systems that work alongside them.
Who I Work With
Ideal Fit
- SMEs and scaleups (10–250 employees)
- Founder-led or fast-growing teams
- Organisations under delivery, people, or growth pressure
- HR-light teams managing complex human dynamics
- Founders and HR leaders seeking clarity, not band-aids
Not a Fit
- Companies seeking checkbox compliance
- Cultures hostile to psychological safety
- Teams expecting therapy disguised as consulting
- Organisations unwilling to support manager capability
Clear fit protects everyone involved.
How Engagement Typically Starts
An initial exploratory conversation → A time-bound pilot to assess fit and impact → An ongoing EAP or advisory engagement.
